Hi Helene-how are you doing? Still in pain? I hope you are feeling better now. My doctors finally discovered the exact damage from my 2 car accidents-3 Disk Protrusins and torn Ligaments in my neck and back, but I won't give up dancing for good! Did you ever decide to teach at the Park Rec. Center? Well I'm back in school studying Film and Video. I hope to work on Motion pictures one day but for now Video will pay the bills. After a 1yr break I decided to start dancing again. I am taking a Middle Eastern class which is quite different!!! The focus is on Egyptian Style. I met a great dance teacher named Shelby who knows "of you" from L.A.-she said her teaching style is like yours...lots of corrections (haha). Her classes are all adults and I hope to study with her soon. Thank you for all the training you've given me. I am a different person today because of it. I miss you and our little talks! Take Care. What a thrill it was that this site turned up during an unrelated search. I have many fond memories of my days at the Talent Center, back in the early '80s. I think I'll be smiling the rest of the day. Helene, you've been such an inspiration to so many. More than anything, being one of your students was just plain fun. Ms. Helene, Hey, It's Amanda Moose! I haven't talked to you in a while and I'm so happy that I'm finally getting a chance to write you. (I share and e-mail address with Sara) =) I have a copy of the tribute dance for you but I have been so busy. I just finished dancing in "Children of Eden" by Stephen Shwartz with Signature Productions, and I just got asked to dance in "The Wiz" out at Spring Mountain Ranch this summer. So I have definatly been having my share of rehearsals. Thank you so much for teaching me everything that I know so that I am able to perform with strength and confidence. I am conastatly finding myself repeating your words to help others in dance as well as daily life. You have taught me so much to just be a better person. I miss everybody so much. I miss my family away from home. I am so glad that I got to share all the time and memories with you. Call me and let me know when it's ok to bring by your video. I hope you are feeling well. Dearest Ms. Helene, Well, it is now May 10, 2001 12:07 AM. I just got your email for the link to the guestbook and I just had to sign it :O ). I am studying for this Accounting test and . . . long behold what greater break I should take then to sign Ms. Helene's guestbook. It's been quite a while Ms. Helene, and I hope you are doing GREAT. I still have not left that show, geez each day I don't wish I was dancing in that show, or maybe made an earlier attempt to make dance a part of my life. However, I am glad that I helped out, and am glad that I got to meet you Ms. Helene. In the short time that you have known my brother and I, you have become a great influence on both of our lives. My brother and I were just thinking about setting up a reunion sort of deal with everyone again, that would be so wonderful (If anyone is interested, contact either me or my brother ::winks::) heh. Well, I am going to get to bed now so that I can wake up tomorrow and take my final. Ms. Helene, take care, and perhaps this summer we can have that dinner with my brother and I that we have ALWAYS talked about we were going to have :O ).
