Mrs. Helene! I took your dance classes about 14 years ago, with Melina. I too moved away and I'm now living in south Georgia. I'm in college now and I'm a Theatre Performance and Theatre Production major. I just want to thank you for introducing me into the entertainment community, ever since I was five I dreamed of being on Broadway like you were, and still do. I intend to become a Theatre teacher for high school or college students and eventually want to open my own performing arts academy. Thank you so much for helping me develop into who I am now! Hello Everyone, I don't know if any of you remember me, but this is Laci McCarty. Actually this is Laci Urcioli...I'm married now (October 6, 2002)finally after 5 years. I was fortunate enough to have been taught dance and how to live life from Ms. Helene and my wonderful friends and family at the Talent Center. My husbad Jamie and I have a daugher who will be 3 in a week. Her name is Savannah Renee. I have been counting down the days to when she would be old enough to start dance lessons with Ms. Helene. As I was looking for the "Talent Center" website to sign her up...I found out that Ms. Helene has retired. I can not explain how upset I am to hear that the one place that I always dreamed of my children learning how to dance is now closed. However, I am extremely grateful to know that I was part of the legacy that is Ms. Helene. I can only hope that I was able to make a lasting impression with the people that I danced with and grew up with. I hold all of you very close to my heart. Thank you Ms. Helene for all of your love and support during the time that I spent with you. I think about dancing at least once a day and I owe it to you for showing me how to love it. If anyone reads this that knows me, please write me an email. I would love to see where life has taken you. I miss you all and love you very much. Thank you again for all of the wonderful memories. Hey Mrs. Helene its me Melina. I was your student a long time ago i dont know if you remember me or anyone does. I am living currently in New Orleans and haven't danced since I left. I still want to be a dancer but there are no good dance schools here and everyone knows nothing can beat Mrs. Helenes teaching. Thanks for everything Mrs Helene I remember every moment of everyday and I would give anything to go back but I cant. My best days of my life were when I was dancing. You taught me so much and i can never forget that. I even remember the times when you had to get on my butt and tell me to stop fooling around. I remember getting ready for recitals. I loved every second of it. I hope you are doing ok and your family, including Jena.
